Vase to dress flowers

This is a vase with flowers as its main component.
Vases have developed as works of art in their own right, and can be considered works of art even without flowers. On the other hand, the original role of a vase was to harmonize with flowers and enhance their beauty.
Just as many industrial products and clothes are made to fit people, this vase is made to fit flowers.
It can be adjusted to fit the flower in the same way that a zipper can be raised or lowered to fit a garment. Like as if putting clothes on flowers.

これは花を主体とした花瓶である。
花瓶はそれ自体が芸術作品として発展してきた背景があり、花がない状態でも作品として成立する。
一方で、本来の花瓶の役割は、花と調和し美しさを引き立たせることにあると考えた。
多くの工業製品や衣服が人間に合わせて作られるように、これは花に合わせる花瓶である。
ジッパーを上げ下げして衣服を身に合わせるのと同じ動作で、花に合わせて調節できる。
その様子は、まるで花に服を着せるようだ。
